A thoroughly therapeutic workout experience that takes a balanced approach to getting fit while alleviating life’s daily aches and pains.  This class is equally dedicated to building strength and improving flexibility from head to toe with a special focus on the most critical and over/underused parts of our bodies.  Perfect for clients who want to focus on keeping injuries, aches, and pains to a minimum.

Mat Pilates PLUS

Whether you’re a Pilates beginner or a Pilates expert practitioner, Mat Pilates Plus will deliver a great Pilates workout which features classical Pilates exercises performed on a Pilates mat, but spices up traditional Pilates workouts with the use of Pilates props such as the small ball, stretch band, Pilates ring, and foam roller. The variety in Mat Pilates Plus classes ensures that each Pilates workout provides a total body workout that strengthens the core through the use of your own body weight, tones the hips and thighs, and flattens the abs through functional movement.

MINDFUL MOMENT

Mindful Movement is exercise performed with awareness.  It involves mental focus to train your body to move optimally through both athletic activities and everyday life.  It is exercise that makes you smarter.

PILATES MYTH #3:

You have to use special equipment in order to do pilates exercises.

Want to know what you really need? Just YOUR body! Pilates using your own body weight can often be enough (or more than enough!) to do the exercises. All you need is a mat or a comfortable space to work on. Here is an example of an exercise that can be done just as well without equipment!
